German-Hungarian Institute for European Cooperation

The German-Hungarian Institute for European Cooperation was founded in 2020 as part of Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) with the objective of promoting bilateral relations between Germany and Hungary. It serves as a forum for academic, scientific, and political dialogue and familiarizes decision-makers and experts from both countries with the topics, debates, processes, and mindset of the other country. Within this framework, the institute produces well-founded, research-based analyses that are accessible to the public and the scientific community. Besides its research activities, the institute organizes events, supports the academic activities of MCC students, and regularly invites German experts to promote dialogue and jointly discuss current issues.
